BIO
Lisa Meyerovich (she/her) is a Russian-American actress who fell in love with the screen and stage for its transparent connection to an artist’s soul. As a storyteller, she is drawn to unpacking complicated relationships and the parts of human behavior we often shy away from.
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Lisa began her training at a Russian school, studying language and theatre from ages 6 through 18—an experience that deeply shaped her artistic foundation, disciplined work ethic, and love of collaboration. She is currently continuing her education at Playhouse West, studying under Robert Carnegie, protege of Sanford Meisner.
Lisa recently moved to Los Angeles, CA after some successes in the film world on the East Coast. A few months after graduating, Lisa was cast as Samantha Browning (Major Supporting) in The Moment: Part 1 (Distant Moon Productions), a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure film that spreads awareness to teens about social pressure, romantic intimacy, and substance use.
Her stage work includes performances as Rosalind in As You Like It by William Shakespeare and Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher, roles that reflect her range, charisma, and command of language. Her Principal film credits include TINO as Trista and Little Flowers as Valentina.
Lisa gravitates toward stories centered on emotionally tough, driven women and is deeply interested in exploring the psychological landscapes of her characters. Known for her natural charisma and emotional accessibility, Lisa is equally at home as a romantic lead. During production of “Always Crying, Always In Love”, Dir. Naomi Prentice once said “Lisa can have chemistry with a brick wall.” Top 5 notes ever received. Thanks, girl!
Beyond acting, Lisa is deeply connected to her Russian culture and language, crediting her big immigrant family and support system for encouraging her to pursue her dreams. When she’s not on set or in class, she can often be found fostering and pet sitting animals, hosting charcuterie nights, and practicing guitar.
